Dale Buff

Dale "Slab" Buff, age 55, of Forest City, NC, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at his residence.
Born October 17, 1958 in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was a son of Elbert Buff of Ellenboro and the late Mary Lucille Adair Buff. He was an electrician and worked for H.R. Allen Construction for many years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching Professional Wrestling.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Buff.
Besides his father, survivors include his wife, Rebecca Clontz of Forest City; three sons, Casey Buff and fiancé, Crystal Boone of Mill Springs, NC, Curtis Buff of Spindale and Bobby Buff of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; the mother of his children, Sherree Marie Whitlock of Spindale; three sisters, Freda Lynch of Cashier, NC, Donna Waters and husband, Johnny of Ellenboro and Patti Bridges and husband, David of Bessemer City, NC; brother, Matthew Buff of Ellenboro; two grandchildren, Lilith Buff and Sidney Michael Buff.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reid Medlin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
