Deborah B. Kiser, age 53, of Turner Street, Forest City, NC, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.
Born February 17, 1961 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Odell Blanton and Maggie Silver Blanton. She worked as a security officer for North Carolina Private Protective Services for several years and was a member of the Holy Ground Community Church in Forest City. Deborah loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-seven years, Clarence Kiser; brother, Jerry Blanton and wife, Shelley of Harris and aunt, Hazel Silver of Marion. She is also survived by niece, Kara Sims and two nephews, Lucas Blanton and Frankie Rose.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Edward Ellison officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
