Della Greene

Della Anita Greene, age 64, of Ellenboro, NC, died Friday, September 28, 2012 at her residence.
Della was born January 4, 1948 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Fredrick Lloyd Barber and Gladys Lee Patterson Barber. She was a homemaker and a member of Race Path Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved being with her family. She loved to work with her flowers and she was a collector of angels.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Nelson Barber.
Survivors include her husband, James Samuel Greene, of the home; three sons, Chris Greene of Ellenboro, Robbie Greene of Forest City, and Timmy Greene of the home;
two daughters, Pam Greene Shade and husband, Stacey, of Forest City and Janet Canipe of Mooresboro; three daughters-in-law, Frankie Greene, Melissa Greene, and Jennifer Moore. She is also survived by two brothers, Tommy Barber of Crowder's Mountain, Benny Barber of Maryland; one sister, Nancy Hyde of Jainesville, Wisconsin; 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Donald White officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
