Don Hopper

Don Hopper, age 73, of Goodes Creek Church Road, Mooresboro, NC, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008 at the Hospice House in Forest City, NC. He was born April 25, 1937 in York County, South Carolina to the late Ray Woodrow Hopper and Faye Parrot Hopper. He retired from Stewart Fasteners after 37 years of service. He was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist of Charlotte, NC. Don enjoyed playing golf and was a UNC Tarheel fan.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Norma Splawn Hopper, one daughter, Kim Hopper Walker and husband Freddie of Cliffside, NC; one son, Michael Ray Hopper and wife Rhonda of Dublin, VA; seven grandchildren, Leslie Walker Francis, Kevin Dean Walker, Pamela Rae Walker, Tabitha Walker Langley, Grace Hopper, Christi Hopper, and Mandi Hopper; and three great grandchildren, Hayden Francis, Preston Henson, and Emma Langley.
