Donald Bradley

Donald D. Bradley, age 33, of Forest City, died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at his residence.
Born January 28, 1982 in Rutherford County, he was the son of Donald Dalton of Forest City and Debra Sexton Solon of Rutherfordton. He worked most of his life in the logging industry and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Donald also was an avid history buff.
He was preceded in death by his step-dad, Matthew Solon; grandparents, Etta Ruth Dalton and William Robert Splawn; great-grandparents, Lollie and Ernest Bradley, Clay Johnson and Etta Norville.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his life companion, Meranda Bradley of Forest City; step-daughter, Amee Quijano; step-son, Matthew Baumgartner; three sisters, Lori Collins and husband, Robbie of Ellenboro, Sue Bradley of Forest City and Debra Lowery and husband, Barry of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by one grandson, Liam Baumgartner; grandparents, Beatrice Splawn and Denton Dalton both of Forest City and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at seven o'clock on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Chad Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
