Donald Hunt

Donald Lee Hunt, age 71, of Golden Valley, NC, died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Hospice House.
Donald was born in Mecklenburg County, NC to the late Fred Lee Hunt and Pauline Avery Hunt. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and worked as a truck driver most of his life. He also worked at Action Welding in Leesburg FL and as a security guard for Florida's Natural in Umatilla, FL.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Kathleen Rushlau Hunt, granddaughter Bristol Kay Harris and his sister, Linda Haire.
Survivors include three daughters, Leeann and Wayne Bowron of Grand Island, FL, Mary & David Whiteside of Golden Valley, NC, Melinda & Aaron Harris of Umatilla, FL; two sons, William Hunt, David Hunt and Tammy Lewis of Umatilla, FL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
