Donna Roach

Donna Morrow Roach, age 62, of Ellenboro, NC, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Donna was born January 3, 1951 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Elmer Buddy Morrow and Laura Warlick Morrow. Donna was a graduate of East High School, class of 1969. She worked for OMC Industries and for J.C. Cowan for many years and was also a private duty caretaker for several years. She was a member of Alexander Baptist Church and enjoyed cleaning, cooking, bargain shopping, camping and especially spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters, Charles Morrow, Irene Splawn, Ruth Moore, Betty Bostic, Jack Morrow, Joe Morrow, Rosie Bridges, Martha McDaniel and Jerry Morrow.
Survivors include her daughter, Leslie Roach of Ellenboro and one son, Scott Roach of Forest City; three sisters, Becky Tipton and husband, Tom, Linda Vallecillo all of Forest City and Susie Dycus of Harris and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Alexander Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
