Dorothy Lane

Dorothy Pearl Lane, age 90, of Sandy Mush, NC, died Monday, April 20, 2009 at Willow Ridge.
She was born in Cuyahoga County, OH to the late Walter Arthur Beyer and Florence Edith Hambleton Beyer. She worked in Cleveland, Ohio as a school secretary and also as a legal secretary before her retirement. She was a long time member of Sandy Mush Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James A. Lane and by one step-daughter, Linda Leonard.
Survivors include two step sons, Leonard Lane of Ravenna, OH and Robert Lane of PA; one step daughter, Susan Lane and her husband, John of Alburtis, PA; one step granddaughter, Karen Strohmyer Steponic; one great grandson, Jacob Steponic and several nieces and nephews.
