Earl Jenkins

Earl Graham Jenkins, Jr, age 58, of 117 Hilltop Drive, Cliffside, NC, died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Earl was born on March 7, 1953 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Earl Graham Jenkins, Sr. and Sarah Margaret Smith Jenkins. He worked as a meat cutter for Wells, Jenkins & Wells for many years and was member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He enjoyed grilling out for family gatherings.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Pam Anton.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Jo Anne Jenkins of the home; three daughters, Lisa Jenkins Perez and husband, Agustin of Mooresboro, Stephanie Jenkins Simmons of Forest City, Beth Jenkins and fianc', Jeremy Lad Horne of Lattimore; one son, Earl Graham Jenkins III of Cowpens, SC; one sister, Stephanie Holland and husband, Doug of Forest City. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Tyler Nguyen, Brittany Perez, Dakota Jenkins, Spencer Simmons III, Brent Simmons, Adrionna Jenkins, Kaylee Simmons, Jeremy Scott Horne and several nieces and nephews.
