Elaine Gregg

Elaine Self Gregg, age 58, of 272 Washington Street, Forest City, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Hospice House in Forest City.
A native of Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Earl Hoover Self and Mary Lucille Rhinehart Self. She was a homemaker and enjoyed babysitting. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sheila Self of Golden Valley and one brother, Charlie Self of Ellenboro.
Survivors include her soul-mate, Ernest Lane, Sr. of Forest City; two sons, Ronnie Armstrong of Conover, NC and Randy Armstrong and his wife, Stacy of Lincolnton, NC; one daughter, Crystal Armstrong of Forest City;one brother, Larry Self of Spindale; three sisters, Sylvia Self of Conover, Carolyn Self of Conover and Brenda McCurry of Valdese, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
