Elizabeth "Beth" Holland Splawn, age 36, of Ellenboro, NC, died Saturday, November 2, 2013 at her residence.
Born January 24, 1977 in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Holland and Cynthia Spratt Holland who resides in Spartanburg, SC. Beth was a graduate of R-S Central High School, class of 1995 and also attended Spartanburg Tech and Isothermal Community College. She worked as a phlebotomist for the American Red Cross for several years and was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She enjoyed flower gardening and was known for her contagious smile and laughter. Beth loved her family, especially her husband and son.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Glenn and Patsy Spratt and paternal grandfather, Baxter Wyatt.
Besides her mother, survivors include her husband of fourteen years, Jody Splawn; son, Holland Chase Splawn of the home; brother, Andrew Wyatt, Jr. of Spartanburg; two half-sisters, Angela Wyatt of Spartanburg and Melissa Keim of Lake Lure. She is also survived by her niece, Ariel Wyatt of Rutherfordton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Concord Baptist Church with Reverend Aubrey Folk and Reverend Travis Laflin officiating. Interment will follow in Sandy Run Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
