Eloise Towery

Eloise Christy Towery, age 93, of Providence Road, Forest City, NC passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the Autumn Care of Forest City, NC. She was born January 7, 1915 in Rutherford County to the late Rufus Robert Christy and Maggie Lee Culbreth Christy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Fay Towery and two brothers, Dan Christy and Sam Christy. Mrs. Towery was a homemaker. She was a creative and caring person who loved her family. She was a longtime member of Providence United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Wayne Towery and wife Francis of Forest City, NC, Danny Towery and wife Dianna of Columbus, NC, and Chris Towery and wife Kathy of Forest City, NC; four grandchildren, Dingo Towery, Christy Coffey, John Towery, and Jinsey Towery; eight great grandchildren, Autum Towery, Levi Towery, Jerica Coffey, Summer Mann, Nathan Mann, Lana Coffey, Jonathan Towery, and Josh Towery; two step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, and one step great great grandchild.
