Eric Belk

John “Eric” Belk, age 52, of Spindale, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Eric was born Monday, July 27, 1970 in Burlington, NC to Audrey Walter Belk who resides in Florida and the late Amos Belk. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan. His favorite driver was Kyle Busch. Eric loved his family dearly and cherished the time he has with them.

Besides his mother, survivors include his wife of ten years, Ann Belk; two sons, Brandon Belk of Wilmington, NC and Johnathan Robinson of Spruce Pine, NC; daughter, Jennifer Downing of Spindale; brother, Kevin Short of Florida; sister, Barbie Overcast (Jody) of Tennessee; grandchildren, Alex and Austin Carroll and a number of nieces and nephews.
