Essie Gilbert

Essie Anne Sisk Gilbert, age 97, formerly of Rutherford County, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home of Aiken, SC.
A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Sisk and Daisy Butler Sisk. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Franklin Gilbert and her sister Edna Millwood.
Survivors include one sister Ruth Gilbert of Forest City; two nieces, Jeanine Sisk and Linda Gilbert; one nephew, Walter Gilbert.
