Eunice Saine

Eunice Lancaster Saine, age 83, of Forest City, passed away Friday, February 23, 2006 at Autumn Care of Forest City following an extended illness. Eunice was born October 16, 1923 in Rutherford County to the late Zeno Lancaster and Essie Hyder Lancaster. She had been a lifelong resident of Rutherford County. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of Sandy Mush Baptist Church. She was known for her kindness and generosity to others. Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Saine, Sr in 1973, a son Charles Saine, also by one sister and five brothers.

She is survived by two sons, Clyde Saine, Jr. and wife Brenda of Forest City, James Saine and wife Connie of Mooresboro, NC; three daughters, Myrtle Heusinkveld and husband Roger of Forest City, Ramona Lane and husband Larry of Henrietta, NC, and Carolyn Moore and husband Vic of Mooresboro, NC; three brothers Z. B. Lancaster of Mill Spring, NC, Robert Lancaster of Huntersville, NC, and Ervin Lancaster of Gastonia, NC. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, and one step- great-great-granchild.
