Floyd Lovelace

Floyd Wade Lovelace, Sr., age 60, of Forest City, NC, died Monday, December 17, 2012 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Floyd was born March 16, 1952 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Floyd W. Lovelace and Sarah Jane Hutchins Lovelace. He worked in textiles most of life and enjoyed finding and selling junk.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of nineteen years, Rhonda Kay Waters Lovelace and one son, Floyd Wade Lovelace, Jr.
Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Lovelace; one son, Robbie Lovelace both of Forest City; two sisters, Barbara Ann Holland and husband, Michael of Forest City and Teresa Chandler and husband, David of Shelby, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Sarah Holt, Amanda Holt, Sophia Lovelace, Jonathan Lovelace, Justin Lovelace, Jason Lovelace and Ashlyn Lovelace; three nephews and two nieces.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. The family will be receiving friends from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. immediately following the service at the funeral home.
