Foye Dills

Foye Lee Dills, age 81, of Forest City, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Willow Ridge Nursing Home.
A native of Rutherford County he was a son of the late Phillip Anderson Dills and Mattie Medford Dills. He worked in the weaving room in the textile mills and also worked as an auto body repair specialist. Foye was a US Army veteran and served his country during World War II as a Military Policeman. He enjoyed painting cars and was a fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Margie Ford Dills and by four sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Ray Dills of Forest City, Ronald Dills and his wife Dorothy of Kings Mountain, NC, Terry Dills and his wife Brenda of Shingle Hollow; one daughter, Brenda Gail Bridges and her husband Roger of Harris; one sister, Eula Edwards of Forest City; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
