Frances Frady Beason

Frances Frady Beason, age 82, of Forest City, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 at Fair Haven of Forest City.

Frances was born Thursday, October 24, 1940 in Rutherford County to the late Claude Frady and Ann Camp Frady. She was a graduate of R-S Central High School, class of 1958. Frances worked as a press operator for Sonoco Plastics for twenty-seven years before retirement. She was a past member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church. Frances loved taking care of her family and being a homemaker. She enjoyed going camping and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-one years, Frank Beason; stepson, Robbie Beason and a sister, Sara Frady Dimsdale.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lisa Spake of Forest City; two sons, Duane Scoggins of Bostic and Tracey Beason (Joyce Parker) of Forest City; sister, Libby Jackson of Shelby; grandchildren, Dustin Beason, Macy Beason, Brandi Toney (Phillip), Lacy Evans (Jimmy), Amanda Henline (Brandon), Matt Pye, Jessica Pye, Clint Spake (Hayley Weese); eleven great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Paula Greene; two step-grandchildren, Ryan Cooper and Robbie Greene.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating.  Interment will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
