Frank Kraynak, age 95, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Oakland Living Center.
Frank was born February 17, 1918 in Charleroi, PA to the late Andrew Kreineck and Anna Kurotz Kreineck. Frank was a Tool and Die maker for General Motors Corporation in Ohio before retiring and locating to Rutherford County. He was a faithful member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Council Knights of Columbus. He served as an usher as well as other areas of the church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Betty Degi Kraynak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 12:10 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Reverend Father Herbert Burke and Reverend Deacon Andy Cilone officiating. The body will lie in state in the church narthex one hour prior to Mass. Interment will take place at the Calvary Cemetery in Parma, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Immaculate Conception Church Debt Reduction Fund, 1024 W. Main Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
