Freddie Robbins

Freddie Lee Robbins, age 64, of Chesnee, SC, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Regional Hospice House in Spartanburg.
Born March 2, 1953 in Cherokee County, SC, he was the son of the late Sidney Robbins, Jr. and Margie Patterson Robbins. Freddie worked for Hamrick Mills for thirty three years before retirement and was a faithful member of the Victory Faith Holiness Center in Cherokee Springs, SC. He enjoyed collecting lighthouses and baseball cards.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Robbins and an infant son, Robert Lee Robbins.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Ingrid "Candy" Robbins; one brother, Johnny Ray Robbins and wife, Linda of Gaffney; two sisters, Nita Ellison and Kay Crawford and husband, Jerry all of Gaffney; two step-sons, Gregory Hull of Cherokee County and Keven Hull and wife, Summer of Boiling Springs, SC; step-daughter, Krystal Pruitt of Cowpens; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Victory Faith Holiness Center in Cherokee Springs with Reverend Joe Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. A committal service will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the McKowns Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery in Gaffney following the service.
