Gary Bostic

Gary L. Bostic, Sr., age 62, of Pine Street Extension, Forest City, NC, died Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born August 30, 1951 in Rutherford County, NC, he was a son of the late Robert Lee Bostic, Sr. and Mary Magdalene Earley Bostic. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1970 and served in the US Marine Corps. Gary worked for United Southern Industries as a machinist for twenty years and was a Baptist. He enjoyed motorcycles and was a collector of various memorabilia.
Survivors include his wife of forty-three years, Rita Bostic; son, Gary Bostic Jr. and wife, Shauna of Ellenboro; two daughters, Mary Magdalene Bostic and husband, Chad Moreland of Rutherfordton and Doris Joan Ruppe and husband, Charles of Forest City; two brothers, Robert Franklin Bostic of Forest City and Clyde Thomas Bostic and wife, Helena of Gilkey; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Bostic of Forest City and Rosemarie Feree and husband, Page of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Gary Avery Bostic, Morgan Elizabeth Bostic, Kayla Savana Roberson, Victoria Faith Roberson, Haley Emerald Ruppe and Kacey Jade Ruppe.
Services will be private for the family.
