Gary Heffner

Gary Heffner, Jr., age 63, a resident of Sunnyside Retirement Home, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Hospice House in Forest City,
Gary was born January 8, 1947 in Cleveland County to the late Gary W. Heffner, Sr. and Shirley Hardin Heffner. He worked in construction as a carpenter and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Wayne Heffner and one brother, Mike Heffner.
Survivors include his son, Shane Heffner and wife, Christena, of Shelby, NC; five brothers, Eddie Heffner and wife, Trish, of Kings Mountain, NC, David Heffner and wife, Tammie, also of Kings Mountain, Dane Heffner of Rutherfordton, NC, Dale Heffner and wife, Elizabeth, also of Rutherfordton, and Geoffrey Heffner and wife, Robin, of Shelby; one grandchild, Dustin Heffner and one step-grandchild, Austin Pruitt.
