Geneva Yelton

Geneva W. Yelton, age 66, of Bostic, NC, died Thursday, April 11, 2019 at her residence.
Geneva was born January 12, 1943 in Rutherford County to the late Elizabeth Lucille Waters. She was a faithful member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church where she served in the music ministry as a choir leader and singer. She worked for Tanners Industries for many years until retirement. Geneva enjoyed sewing, reading her Bible, going to flea markets and visiting with people. She loved her family dearly.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, James Yelton; two daughters, Debbie Brower (Darren) of Crossville, TN and Brenda Kuhl (Michael) of Rutherfordton; three sons, Dennis Yelton (Lynn) of Bostic, Jeff Yelton (Lucy) of Forest City and Michael Yelton (Sherri) also of Forest City. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Spindale Holiness Church with Reverend Leon Brown, Reverend Dennis Yelton and Reverend Danny Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
