George Henry Murray

George Henry Murray, age 63, of Forest City, NC passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, SC.

Not too long after his graduation from Waterloo High School, he moved to Georgia. George excelled in auto body repair work.  He later relocated and lived in Forest City until his death. He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Murray; parents, Robert Murray and Caroline Murray Miller; three brothers, Robert Murray Jr., Roger Murray and Mark Murray.

He is survived by a stepfather, Darold “Bucky” Miller of Waterloo, Wisconsin; sister, Pamela Jensen (Larry) of Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin, Dawn Bondracek (John Sands) of Powell, Ohio, Patricia Talty (Thomas) of South Carolina; brother, Michael Miller of Watertown, Wisconsin and numerous nieces and nephews.

According to his wishes there will be no viewing or services. His ashes will be interred in Waterloo, Wisconsin at a fondly remembered childhood play area.  “Rest in Eternal Peace, Dear Brother.”
