Glen Padgett

Glen Tate Padgett, age 89, of Bostic, NC passed away Friday, May 09, 2008 at the Fair Haven Home. She was born August 10, 1918 in Rutherford County to the late Vance William Tate and Nola Sephronia Clayton Tate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James Ray Padgett, a grandson David Brian Padgett and two brothers, William Tate and Norman Tate. Glen was a life-long member of Floyd's Creek Baptist Church and worked as a spinner for Cone Mills. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.

She is survived by one son Ronald Padgett and wife Freda of Monroe, NC; two grandchildren Ronald Kevin Padgett of Charlotte and Amy Melissa Padgett of Monroe, NC and several nieces & nephews.
