Glenda Faye Cooper

     Glenda Faye Cooper, age 68, of Ellenboro, NC passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

     Glenda was born Sunday, August 1, 1954 in Rutherford County to Susan Dobbins Cooper who resides in Forest City, and the late Charlie Cooper.  She liked camping and enjoyed watching movies, especially on Lifetime. Glenda loved taking care of her fur babies. She was a loving mother who had a good heart and was a very generous person.

     In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Cooper.

     Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kelly Edney; son, Robby Edney; sister, Darlene Hooper (Stanley); her best friend, Nickie Grant; her two fur babies Harley, her dog and Bubba, her cat.

   A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Wayne Toney officiating.  Interment will follow at the Alexander Cemetery.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills at 372 Hudlow Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
