Glenn "Little Man" Holland, age 53, of Forest City, died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Mission Hospital in Asheville.
Born October 26, 1961 in Montgomery, Alabama, he was the son of Larry Holland and Shirley Lantz Holland. Glenn was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1979. He was a mechanic and worked for AFA Manufacturing for many years and Fehrer Automotive for several years. Glenn was a motorcycle enthusiast and member of the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Club, past member of the Sober Riders Motorcycle Club and attended the activities of the Freedom Riders Motorcycle Club. He was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his daughter, Joanie Mitchell and husband, Josh of Kernersville, NC; sister, Sherie Thomas and brother, John Holland both of Rutherfordton; granddaughter, Adyson Mitchell of Kernersville and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
