Grover Owens

Grover Finley Owens, age 76, passed away Friday, July 21, 2006, at a local nursing home. Mr. Owens was born March 31, 1930 in Caroleen, NC to the late Claude Campbell Owens and Mildred White Owens. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County having retired from Stonecutter Mill. He was a veteran of the armed forces, having served in U.S. Army immediately following World War II, and was a member of Harriet Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening and especially taking his grandchildren fishing.
