Hayward Lowery

Hayward Lowery, age 66, of Black Mountain, NC, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.
Born September 6, 1948 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late William Howard Lowery and Gennieve Davidson Lowery. He enjoyed a long friendship along with excellent care at the Black Mountain Center.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Harold Lowery and sister, Sybil Biggers.
Survivors include two sisters, Rita Robinson and husband, Sam of Gastonia and Linda Gibbs and husband, Michael of Spartanburg; one brother, Tom Lowery of Tega Cay, SC.
A memorial graveside service will be conducted at eleven o'clock on Friday morning June 12, 2015 at the Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Gabe Clevenger officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
Memorials are suggested to the Black Mountain Center Foundation, 932 Old US Highway 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Black Mountain Center for being Hayward's extended family for many years and for the wonderful care and compassion given to him during his stay.
