Helen O'Dell

Helen O'Dell, age 68, of Mountain View Street, Forest City, NC, died Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Helen was born July 21, 1950 in Melbourne, Florida to the late Waford Pennington and Tresina Martin Pennington. She worked as a waitress at Scott's on Broadway for over fifteen years. Helen was a fun-loving lady who enjoyed cooking for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-six years, Tommy O'Dell.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Dawn O'Dell Lovelace (J.R.) of Ellenboro; three sons, Steve O'Dell (Tera) of Forest City, Colden O'Dell (Daphne) of Mill Spring and Jesse O'Dell of Ellenboro. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The family will gather for a special time of remembrance on a later date.
