Helen Parks

Helen Hill Parks, age 84, of 136 Marsha Lane, Spindale, NC, died Sunday, May 24, 2009 at her residence.
She was born February 23, 1925 as the only daughter to the late Willie Thomas Hill and Valarie Jones Hill. She had worked for Grindstaff's Interiors for 35 years as an interior decorator before her retirement. She loved flowers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bobby Parks.
Survivors include three sons, Stanley Earp and his wife, Earlene, of Forest City, Larry Earp and his wife, Brenda, of Forest City and Andy Parks and his wife, Margaret, of Green Hill; three daughters, Linda Harris of Spindale, Janice McKinney and her husband, Marty, of Cliffside and Marsha Earp of Spindale. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren
