Hong Casner

Hong Casner, age 74, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Colonial Manor in Rutherfordton.

Hong was born Saturday, March 5, 1949 in Vietnam. She worked as a compact operator for Sara Lee Textiles for many years. Hong was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Clarence Casner and her beloved son, Donald Lee Casner.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Edgar Casner (Rosana L. Lapham) and John Casner; grandchildren, Chandler Casner, Kai Casner, Max Russell and Lindsay Russell.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held from 4:30 until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 3^rd at Harrelson Funeral Home.
