Irene Conner

Irene Sisk Conner, age 87, of 121 Womack Lake Road, died Saturday, March 27, 2010 at her residence.
Irene was born February 10, 1923 in Rutherford County to the late Bailey Sisk and Vinnie Shehan Sisk. She enjoyed flower gardening, the outdoors and caring for her children and grandchildren. She was a Methodist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Pink W. Conner; six sisters; three brothers and a granddaughter, Jennifer Wrenn Conner.
Survivors include, her daughter Margo Gunnin and husband, Miles, of Forest City; one son, Jack Conner and wife, Barbara, of Caroleen; five grandchildren, Robert Clayton, Deanna Conner, Steven Conner, Brandi Saine and Bo Gunnin, Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren, Chelsi Clayton, Brandon Brandle, Brittany Roper, Justin Roper, Taylan Daughtery, Keylon Tate, Jensen Conner, Jayden Conner, Auston Wiggins and Brittany Saine and by one great-great granddaughter, Malayna Padgett.
