Jacqueline Smith Curtis, age 67, of Ellenboro, died Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born January 18, 1948 in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Smith and Rose Lee Boles Smith.
Jackie was a member of Campfield Memorial Baptist Church where she was active in the senior adults, children's ministry and sang in the choir. She was retired from PPG Industries and Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Wayne Curtis; two daughters, Leah Greene and husband Brian, Julie Thorn and husband Steve; two sisters, Sandra Hensley, Rosann Hovis; and one brother, Larry D. Smith. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Huffman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Campfield Memorial Baptist Church or the church building fund, 369 Campfield Church Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040
