James Bright

James Bright, age 73, of Forest City, died Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born February 3, 1945 in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Pink Bright and Nannie Lou Griffin Bright. He worked in the tree service industry for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed yard work and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Bertha Griffin and Mary Jane Turner and two brothers, Walter Lee Griffin and Cordell Bright.
Survivors include two sons, Jesse Moore Bright of Midview, Arizona and Raymond Bright and wife, Holly all of Marion, Virginia; four sisters, Marie Ledford and husband, James Larry of Henrietta, Minnie D. Brown of Forest City, Louise Harris of Morganton, Faye B. Tallent of Spindale and a brother, Odell Bright also of Spindale. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Peyton, Gavin, Binx Bright and a host of nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 8th, at Marie and James Ledford's house, 319 Doc Wiseman Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114.
