James Gorman

James Whitely Gorman, Jr. age 64, of Rutherfordton, NC, went to be with his Lord on Thursday July 4, 2019.
James is survived by his wife, Paula Gorman; two daughters, Candy Thompson and Amy Nolen; five sisters, Radonna Gorman, Barbara Martin, Barbara Gorman, Joyce Kellogg, and Phyliss Sicona; brother, Byron Gorman; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
James loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed fishing and working on his cars.
The family will receive friends at Harrelson Funeral Home in Forest City on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019 at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Forest City, NC. Pastor Bill Alley will officiate the service.
