James Harris

James Ervin Harris, age 65, of Ellenboro, NC, died July 1, 2012 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville.
James was born on February 11, 1947 in Rutherford County, NC to the late George Harris and Evia Bowen Harris. He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He worked at GDS Waste Management for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Harris and two sisters, Dorothy Ramsey and Marie Wright.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Hunt and husband, Jimmy and Elizabeth Harris all of Bostic; one sister, Barbara Baugham of Shelby and six grandchildren, David Dycus, James Harris, Allen Harris, Rachel Hunt, Jerry Hunt and Asia Brown.
