James Shores

James Banner Shores, age 81, of 2309 Old Caroleen Road, Forest City, NC, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at his residence.
James was born on July 12, 1928 in Pulaski County, VA to the late Marvin Banner Shores and Mary Willie Brewer Shores. He worked for PET Milk Company as a delivery man and served our country in the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Shores and by one sister, Willie Mae Lawrence.
Survivors include one son, Chris Shores; one daughter, Dana Shores; three brothers, Russell Shores and his wife, Elizabeth, of Hazlehurst, GA, Joseph Shores and his wife, Robin, of Forest City and Sammy Shores and his wife, Wilma, of Alma, GA; three sisters, Florence Gibson of Augusta, GA, Christine Wise and her husband, Ell Dee, of Beech Island, SC and Sarah Scott and her husband, Grover, of Aiken, SC.
