James " Jamie" Garland Adair, age 38, of 251 Baxter Cemetery Road, Forest City, NC, died on April 19, 2008 at the Hospice Residence of Rutherford County after an extended illness.
He was born in Frankfurt, Germany on August 11, 1969 to Summey Garland Adair and Diane Campbell Adair. He was a 1987 graduate of Chase High School and also a graduate of Isothermal Community College. He worked as a facility manager for the State of North Carolina and was a member of Goodes Creek Baptist Church. Jamie loved his family and friends dearly and was an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Geneva Adair and Gerald Campbell and one nephew, Austin Adair.
Beside his parents, he is survived by his wife Crystal Champion Adair; two sons Cody Adair and Nicholas Adair; two step-sons, Cameron Patrick and Chandler Patrick all of the home; one brother, Kelly Adair and his wife Beth of Forest City; a grandmother, Eunice Campbell of Henrietta; one nephew, Hayden Adair of Forest City; his in-laws, Phillip and Becky Champion of Polk County; several aunts and uncles, and a host of friends.
