Jamie Clayton, Sr.

Jamie Dewayne Clayton, Sr., age 48, of Mooresboro, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020.

Jamie was born August 27,1971 in Bay County, Florida to Linda Caro Brown who resides in Mooresboro and the late Michael Clayton, Sr.  He worked as a Re-Seller/Trader of cars and various property most of his life. Jamie was an outdoorsman who enjoyed riding motorcycles and avid gun collector. He was known for being a dedicated and fun-loving friend to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Taylor Hutchins of Mooresboro; three sons, Jamie Clayton, Jr. of Maiden, NC, Joseph Clayton and Jonathan Clayton both of Forest City; step-father, Bruce Brown of Mooresboro; granddaughter, Avan Clayton-Knox; brother, Michael Clayton, Jr. (Billie) of Panama City, FL; three nieces, Kayla Clayton, Megan Clayton, Josie Gore and a great-nephew, Keagan Clayton.

A viewing and gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Harrelson Funeral Home.
