Jeff "Jabo" Kimbrell, age 47, of Forest City, NC, died March 5, 2015.
Born June 17, 1967 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the James E. Kimbrell, Sr. and the late Juanita T. Kimbrell. Jeff worked for Avondale Mill for many years and for Forest City Diner for several years. As a carpenter, he worked for All-American Homes and Blue Ridge Log Cabins most recently. He was known as a "Jack of all Trades".
In addition to his father, survivors include his wife of eighteen years, Joy Kimbrell; three daughters, Ashley Nicole Kimbrell of Mooresboro, Casey Lynn Kimbrell and Taylor Irene Kimbrell of the home; two sons, Christopher Scott Kimbrell and Johnathan Maxwell Kimbrell of Rutherford County; two brothers, James Kimbrell, Jr. and Jerry Kimbrell both of Forest City. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Landon Chase Kimbrell and Logan Tyler Kimbrell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Wayne Toney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
