Jerry Reynolds

Jerry Reynolds, age 76, of Rutherfordton, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home.

Jerry was born Sunday, August 18, 1946 in Rutherford County to the late Archie Reynolds and Hettie Frashier Reynolds. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1964 and earned an Associates Degree from Greenville Technical College. He served in the Army National Guard for ten years and worked for Michelin Tires Manufacturing until retirement. Jerry was a talented craftsman who could build or fix about anything. He was also known as an outdoorsman who enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting. Jerry was a faithful and longtime member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a dear grandson, Corey Blake Rabb.

Left to cherish fond memories are his loving wife of fifty-four years, Brenda Reynolds; son, Kevin Reynolds (Lynn) of Simpsonville, SC; sister, Nancy Hughes (Ed) of Bostic; grandson, Nathan Rabb (Dayzie), a great-grandson, Easton Rabb and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Moneyham officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may pay their respects one hour prior to the service time at the church.
