Jerry Allen Huskey

Jerry Allen Huskey, age 59, of Forest City, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022.

Jerry was born Friday, December 14, 1962 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Franklin Huskey and Betty Louise Dockery Huskey. He worked for Carolina Trophies in Shelby for many years. He enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar. Jerry also enjoyed woodworking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Cody Huskey; two brothers, Bill Huskey and Steve Huskey and a sister, Pamela Huskey.

Survivors include his life companion, Sheila Evans of Forest City; two sons, Joe Allen Huskey and Joshua Huskey both of South Carolina and a daughter, Summer Ann Huskey of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Rick Huskey of Maryland and David Huskey of Colorado. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.

A family directed celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Crowe Park. Everyone is encouraged to bring a dish and to share a story about Jerry.
