Jimmy 'Fat Cat' Hill, age 54 of Forest City, NC, died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Jimmy was born November 11, 1957 in Muscogee County, Georgia to the late Boyd Oren Hill and Carolyn Honeycutt Hill who resides in Forest City. He has worked for Kennedy Trucking for several years as an over the road truck driver. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He loved car racing and fishing. He was known as a tenderhearted man.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Hall Hill; grandparents, Otho and Mary C. Honeycutt and Tom and Cora Hill.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Mary Hill of Forest City and Jamie Ann Hill of Shelby; one sister, Terri Stewart and husband, Wayne of Inman, SC and one niece, Angie Hernandez of Forest City.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Michael Cash and Reverend Sam Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery of Mooresboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. At other times they will be gathered at 768 Chase High Road, Forest City.
