Jimmy Moore

Jimmy Moore, age 40, of Forest City, passed away at his residence on Friday, September 27, 2024.

Jimmy was born on Wednesday, August 1, 1984, in Rutherford County. He was a 2004 graduate of R.S. Central High School where he was a member of the Wrestling Team. Jimmy was a stay-at-home dad in recent years and loved playing with his children. He was an avid Cowboys fan, but also enjoyed playing frisbee, basketball, football, shooting pool, and many other sports.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Moore; his grandmother, Elsie Calhoun; and his uncle, Donald Robertson.

Survivors include his mother, Bertha Moore (Jerry), of Bostic; seven children, James Moore, Rhythm Moore, Adrian Reynolds, Ella Moore, Gracie Moore, Alexander Moore, and Nora-Ann Moore; fiance, Kelsie Kuhl; mother of two children, Nickie Moore; six siblings, Bobby Moore (Jennifer), Chris Moore, Michael Moore (Crystal), Candy Moore (Travis), Hailey Moore (Tyler), and Bella Moore; five nephews, Josh, Brayden, Drake, Eli, and Bambam; and four nieces, Joelynne, Lilly, Ariana, and Kendall.

The family will be holding a memorial service on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Restoration Church in Spindale if weather permits. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service.
