Jimmy Dean Couch, age 61, of Spindale, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Jimmy was born Thursday, June 15, 1961 in Rutherford County to Violet Conner who resides in Spindale and the late James Couch. Jimmy was a published author who wrote the book, “One Dark Night.” He also wrote music and loved playing the guitar. He was an avid fisherman and attended the Little White Country Church. Jimmy was known for his keen sense of humor.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Marie Lee Couch and brother, Robert Couch.
Left to cherish his memory are is wife of twenty-three years, Colleen O’Dell Couch; children, Joshua Morris of Rutherfordton, Jesse Couch of the home, Joshua Couch of the home, Sarah O’Dell of Henrietta and William Johnston of Wilmington, NC; siblings, Kay Couch McKinney of Bostic, Mary Helen Couch of Rutherfordton, Larry James Couch of Mooresboro, Laura Mae Greene of Mooresboro, Charles Couch of Spindale, Brian Couch of Green Hill, April Howell of Bishopville, SC, Judy Ann Couch of Sevierville, TN and Lora Smith of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Reagan, Mallie and Aalyah.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Harrelson Funeral Home.
