Jimmy E. Robbins

Jimmy E. Robbins, age 83, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Jimmy was born Wednesday, February 20, 1939 in Cleveland County to the late Pete Robbins and Louise Jackson Robbins. He worked as a mechanic at Stonecutter Mill for many years and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. Jimmy loved working on cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Guffey Robbins; two sons, David Robbins and Wayne Robbins and a sister, Betty “Libby” Swink.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Connor Robbins of Forest City; daughter, Cindie Robbins Cutshaw (Rick) of Maiden, NC; son, Ritchie Robbins (Joyce) of Forest City; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating.
