Joan Watson

Joan West Watson, age 50, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Willow Ridge Nursing Center in Rutherfordton. She was born April 14, 1957 in Rutherford County. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennie West Rainwater. Joan loved the outdoors, fishing, and camping. Joan had a wonderful sense of humor and she loved taking care of others..

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Samuel Watson of the home; two sons
Samuel Lee Watson and wife Angela of Rutherfordton, and John Michael Watson of
the home; her father, Rev. Bobby West of Forest City, a brother, Roger West of Rutherfordton, two sister, Sharon Robbins of Forest City and Olivia Branch of Green Creek. Also surviving is her grandmother, Cecil West of Forest City, six nieces, seven nephews, three great nieces and two great nephews.
