Joe Randall

Joe Doris Randall, age 75, of Weaverville, NC, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Brian Center after an extended illness.
A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Joseph Preston Randall and Lizzie Toms Randall. He was a graduate of Tri-High School and had attended Appalachian State of Boone, NC. He was a lifetime member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. He was an owner of Randall's Nursery and later co-owned Thompson Brothers Pest Control.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Jason Randall.
Survivors include his sister, Elizabeth R. Drawdy of Spindale; two nephews, David Jason Randall of Indian Trail, NC and Stephen Preston Randall of Atlanta, GA; one niece, Dr. Maria Amanda Gill of England.
