Joey Morrow

Joey Morrow, age 64, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville.

Joey was born Wednesday, May 1, 1957 in Rutherford County to the late Joe Morrow and Sylvia Holland Morrow. He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 1975. Joey served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was a welder for most of his life and most recently worked as a General Foreman for Century Construction. Joey enjoyed woodworking and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs Football fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lynn Moore and brother, Greg Morrow.

Left to cherish fond memories are his daughter, Carrie Morrow McCorkle (Andrew) of Warner Robbins, Georgia; brother-in-law, Donald Moore of Ellenboro and a friend, Tammy Edwards. He was also survived by his precious fur babies, Baby Girl, Colt and Gus.
